Qualiphi Expands AI Career Services with Six-Figure Acquisition of Career Club in Egypt and Gulf
Cairo, Egypt – Career technology firm Qualiphi has acquired Career Club in a strategic six-figure deal, marking a major step in its mission to revolutionize career services across Egypt and the Gulf. The acquisition, finalized in late 2025, will enhance digital career guidance, skills training, and job matching for students and graduates in the region.
Bridging the Gap Between Education and Employment
Career Club, previously owned by iCareer, has been a key player in providing digital career tools, backed by organizations like the International Labour Organization (ILO) and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ). The platform helps students navigate career paths, develop in-demand skills, and connect with job opportunities—a critical need in Egypt’s rapidly growing labor market, which saw 743,000 graduates in 2024.
Qualiphi, founded in 2025 by entrepreneur Nevien Magdy, operates a Career Services Management platform that links universities, employers, and students through AI-driven solutions. With over 500,000 students already supported and partnerships with institutions like Ain Shams University and Egypt’s Ministry of Higher Education, the company is now poised to expand its reach further.
Expanding Services Across the Gulf
The acquisition will accelerate Qualiphi’s rollout of enhanced services, including AI-powered career guidance, CV-building tools, and digital job fairs. The company also aims to onboard 15 additional Egyptian universities by 2026 while deepening its presence in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf markets, where it already serves over 7,000 students from diverse backgrounds.
“This move isn’t just about growth—it’s about solving a critical challenge in our region,” said a Qualiphi spokesperson. “Too many students struggle to transition from education to employment due to fragmented career services. We’re building a unified, data-driven ecosystem to change that.”
Tackling Youth Unemployment with AI
The deal highlights the increasing demand for digital career infrastructure in emerging markets, where education systems often lag behind labor market needs. Many institutions still rely on outdated, manual processes, leaving graduates unprepared for the job market. Qualiphi’s AI-driven approach personalizes career recommendations, tracks skill development, and improves job matching—key factors in reducing youth unemployment.
Experts note that local platforms like Qualiphi are gaining traction over global solutions by addressing regional labor dynamics. With Egypt’s workforce projected at 34.7 million in 2025, scalable career services are more crucial than ever.
A Regional Solution for a Mobile Workforce
The expansion into Gulf markets reflects the cross-border demand for career enablement platforms tailored to the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). As students and professionals increasingly move between countries for work, integrated systems like Qualiphi’s could play a pivotal role in shaping the future of employment in the region.
With this acquisition, Qualiphi is not just growing its business—it’s positioning itself as a leader in the digital transformation of career services across the Arab world.
